Photography has always been interesting to me. In 1984, I worked in a graphics reproduction company, which was San Francisco’s biggest company at that time. I worked in the dry mounting and color stats department. Dry mounting consist of cutting boards and applying pictures, posters or photos mechanical transfers onto the boards. Color stats involved using the ILFORD camera, which was mostly used to make reproductions of original renderings and paintings.
In 1990, I decided to change my path and start my own business. I took a course in screen printing, which I immediately fell in love with, and started D.C. Graphics Design.
In 1990, after nine years of hard work with screen printing, I decided it was time for a change and returned to my first love, which was photography. The photography I do now, involves taking all the pictures, cutting the mats, measuring and cutting. This is truly my masterpiece.
